7 Sites for Free 3D Models

This is the premiere place to find 3D models. They have a huge paid section, but if you simply type “free” into the search, it will come up with hundreds of awesome free models.

This has an incredible repository of great models! You gotta dig through it to find the goods, but there are some spectacular models in this library.

This is an EPIC resource! It has thousands of 3D scans of historic statues and artifacts. They’re SO useful and did we mention FREE? I use this place all the time.

If you’re a Unreal user, this library is pretty rad. The have a “Permanently Free Collection” which has stunning assets you can download.

A great resource with tons of 3D characters, cars and vehicles.

NASA actually has a model library of everything space, from models of astronauts to lunar modules to shuttles. Some aren’t the most detailed, but if you need some space objects, this is a great place to check out!
