In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to overcome an obnoxious issue where if you take a camera or object that has keyframes on it and put it into a parent null or nest it, everything goes haywire. It’s an unfortunate parental issue. Parent and child relationships have always been tough!
The good news is there is a very easy workaround and I’ll show you how to go from frustrated to serene with the Set Parent and Unparent options. Also, I’ll show you how to move an object that has keyframes in a way that will maintain the animation without touching your dope sheet. These are simple tricks, but they’re super useful. Enjoy!
